The BOSS Torsion-Flex Weight Distribution Shank offers one of the smoothest rides you'll ever encounter.
This product is a drop mount cushion shank that provides you with the option of a 16.5cm - 28cm adjustable drop, making it incredibly adaptable.
Constructed from heavy-duty steel, this shank is completed with a silver-vein powder coat.
Torsion hitches require some initial towing for a few hundred kilometres with a load to properly adjust the torsion rubbers for their intended flexibility. During assembly, we freeze the torsion rubbers to fit them into the housing. This initial towing period helps them settle in and start functioning as expected.

Torsion-Flex technology is our patented design that helps improve hitch function and advantage. Its unique assembly leads to its effectiveness on the road. Once your trailer is hooked up, your tongue weight is applied, and you’re going down the road, it’s time for this hitch to shine.
In motion, the arms of the hitch will move up and down with the bumps in the road to decrease inertia between your truck and what you’re towing. An added benefit to the Torsion-Flex hitches is the built-in tongue weight scales.

Orders are dispatched once payment has been confirmed. For courier deliveries, orders placed before the 1:30pm weekday cut-off are typically processed for the next available dispatch.
Delivery timeframes:
- Standard NZ courier: Dispatched the next working day after payment confirmation.
- Rural deliveries: Allow up to 5 working days.
- Large or bulky orders: Sent via bulk freight and may take 5-10 working days.
- International Airmail: Typically 3-14 days, with a maximum parcel weight of 20kg.
- International Courier: Available at an additional cost, with tracking included and a delivery target of 2-6 days. Maximum parcel weight is 30kg.
We accept returns of unused items in their original packaging within 14 days of purchase. Please contact us first to obtain a return authorisation before sending any items back.
Once your return is received and approved, a refund or store credit will be issued.

- Special-order or imported items may not be eligible for return. In some cases, returns may be considered if the customer covers any associated freight costs.
- Refunds for credit card and PayPal purchases are subject to a 3% non-refundable transaction fee.
