Nissan Patrol Y62 - 2015+ - Next Generation ClearView Towing Mirror
Clearview extendable Next Gen towing mirrors to suit:
| Manufacturer | Model | Manufacturing Year |
|---|---|---|
| Nissan | Patrol Y62 | 2015 onwards |
The Clearview® Next Gen Mirror represents the next generation in towing mirrors. If you want a stylish mirror that eliminates blind spots and ensures your safety through improved vision, this is the mirror for you.
Telescopic 2-stage extension provides 2 towing positions to choose from, allowing you to see down the side of your van when towing and won’t retract when driving at high speeds or when passing large trucks.
A dual mirror design incorporating an upper large flat glass for reflecting true distance and lower convex glass for a broader view of the vehicle’s surrounds makes this the ultimate towing mirror recommended for all of your towing needs.
Clearview Next Gen Towing Mirror Features
- Mirror size and driving position comparable to OEM mirrors
- Telescopic 2-stage extension provides 2 towing positions to choose from
- Non-Extended Driving Position: 351mm
- Extended Towing Position: 448mm
- Fully Extended Towing Position: 531mm
- Won’t retract when driving at high speeds or when passing large trucks
- Large top mirror 1:1 ratio. This large, flat mirror provides a narrower field of view, reflecting true distance for reversing. It provides an exact reflection of what’s happening behind you. *Replacement convex glass is also available to purchase for those who prefer the convex vision over the 1:1 vision.
- Smaller bottom mirror. This slightly curved mirror makes objects appear further away than they are. The convex mirror reduces the objects that it reflects, allowing the driver to have a much wider field view and diminishing blind spots. This mirror provides a better understanding of what’s happening around the vehicle.
How to choose the correct Clearview Towing Mirror
Towing Mirrors to suit the Nissan Navara NP300 include the Original, Next Gen and Compact Towing Mirrors. The NP300 (2015 – 2020) comes with features that can include electric adjustment, indicators, heated mirrors and camera incorporated into the side mirrors.
The NP300 2021 onwards also comes with Blind Spot Monitoring on some models. With Clearview Towing Mirrors, you don’t have to compromise on any of these features.
Unfortunately, Power Fold functionality is not available for the NP300 models due to the design of the factory mount.
Clearview Towing Mirror Options for your Nissan Patrol Y62
- Black or Chrome Cap
- Manual Mirror
- Electric Adjustable Mirrors
*Please note that mirror features specified in the above mirror descriptions are the only features included in the mirror. Any features not specified are not included in the Towing Mirror.
Clearview Mirror Installation Instructions
Because Clearview Towing Mirrors are a full replacement towing mirror, they are designed to use the existing holes, fittings and wiring as your existing set-up. Overall this means a stress-free fitting procedure. Follow this link for the DIY instructional installation video.
